- What Is a Land Acknowledgment?
A Land Acknowledgment formally recognizes Indigenous people as the original stewards of the lands we are on. With this acknowledgment, we recognize that fact and the relationship that exists between Indigenous peoples and their ancestral homes.
- What Can I Do?
We encourage you to take a moment to acknowledge and respect the Indigenous peoples of your area, wherever you are today. If you’re unfamiliar with the original caretakers of the land, we encourage you to research this and learn their stories.
